They say a problem shared is a problem halved. How true that is ..... who knows, but it is with that in mind that I started my group.
A little bit about myself (boring quite frankly so feel free to skip to another page!) I am Mandy, married to a slightly autistic husband, with two daughters. Amy aged 6, diagnosed Aspergers Syndrome and Isabelle aged 3, diagnosed Autistic Spectrum Disorder. I live in the village of Braunston, Nr Daventry in Northamptonshire. I have lived here all my life (again quite boring!) but it is home. I do not work (unfortunately!) as caring for my autistic brood and the dog is pretty much a fulltime job! And of course this very special group and one other that I am also involved in. Anyway enough of me have a look and see what you think
We have a new location for 2010 and weekly meetings, these meetings are run with another Charity Group, Hunnybees of which I am chairperson, so it made more sense to combine the two groups. Hunnybees is a group for pre school children with special needs.
